Born in Prizren in 1952. Dr. Ethem Baymak, a versatile person, gives art history lectures at Pristine University Philology Faculty. An artist having 24 original books on various subjects, attended international scientific meeting with his reviews on critics, essays, poetry. Baymak, who is a leading turkish painter of the Balkans, has many exhibitions, both personal and multi-partnered. The admirations, golden plaques and ranks confirm his authority. He pursued his specialist works in countries such as Czechoslovakia, Italy, Germany and Croatia. The artist has works in the private and museum collections in usa, eu and turkey. Also Baymak is the president of kosovo turkish artists association and head of regulatory board of international “awakening arts” festival. He still works freelance in his personal workshop in Kosova.
