He was born in İzmir, 1960. 1982 – Graduated from Ceramic Department of Çanakkale Vocational High School, Trakya University. 1987- Graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. 1990- Completed his MA degree at Mimar Sinan University, Social Sciences Institute. 1992- He became a research assistant in Mimar Sinan University, Fine Arts Academy, Department of Painting, Lithography Workshop. 1995- Completed the qualification program at Mimar Sinan University, Institute of Social Sciences. He completed his thesis titled ‘New Romantics in Contemporary Painting’. 1997 – He became an assistant professor at the Department of Painting of the Mimar Sinan University, Faculty of Fine Arts. He still works as a lecturer at the same university.
