Was born in 1946 in 2ndGokche village of Mari city. He graduated from Turkmen School of Fine Arts in 1970.
The same year he started to work at Askhabat Art Foundation. 1972 he became a member of the Union for Handicraft Masters.
In 1989 he has been received the title “Honorable Artist of Turkmenistan”
In 1994 opened own Private Museum Bazar Gurbangeldiyev is married and he is the father five children.
