Kosekmkurat Nurmuradov was born in 1951 in Mari, Turkmenistan. He studied at S. Rustaveli State Fine Arts College of Turkmenistan. He graduated from Tashkent A. Ostrovski Theatre and Fine Arts Academy. Since 1987, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. In 1988, he was awarded the Lenin Komsomol Award of Turkmenistan. In 2012, the artist entitled to receive the award of State of Medal of Turkmenistan. Since 1980, he has been an active participant in art exhibitions in Turkmenistan and abroad. His paintings are in private collections and galleries in Turkmenistan and abroad.
