Mine Okur

She was born on October 24, 1970 in Ankara. She completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara. In 1994, she graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Design. She worked as a graphic designer on information technologies and multimedia at Sebit and Mobilsoft. In 2007, she worked as the design coordinator of the the Innovation and Information Technologies Center of Near East University. Until 2013, she worked as a lecturer at Near East University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Visual Communication and Design. She is currently working as a lecturer at Near East University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Graphic Design. She received her PhD degree in 2017 with a thesis on “Cyprus Themed Video Game Design”. Mine Okur, who held a solo exhibition and participated in many group exhibitions, is married and has one child.
