Ormon Idrisov

Ormonali Idrisov was born in 1959, in the Kirkol village in Naukat district, Osh region. Since 1997 he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic. Between the years 1985-1990, he studied at the Leningrad V.I. Mukhina High School of Industrial Art. He is a senior teacher of the T. Sadykov National Academy of Arts. The artist is a participant of numerous exhibitions such as: “Art without Borders”, Bishkek (1999); “Artists of Kyrgyzstan”, Switzerland (1997); exhibition of “Artists of Kyrgyzstan” in France (2001); international exhibition of “The World of the Artist” in the Central House of Artists, Moscow, (2008); World Expo 2010, China (2010); international exhibition, Iran (2008); international exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of C. Aitmatov (2008). The artist is also the author of the solo exhibitions that were held by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan (1996), Art Gallery of Kyrgyzstan (2000); G.Aitiev KGNMFA, Bishkek (2006); Museum of Fashion (Castle Mayenburg), Germany (2008; 2010); Budapest (Budafok), Hungary (2004). The artist’s works take place in the G. Aytiev National Museum of Fine Arts, Bishkek; in the “Museum of Fashion” Mayenburg in Germany, as well as in private collections of the CIS countries, Germany, Hungary, Switzerland, Belgium, USA, Japan, Canada, South Africa, Italy, France, England, Turkey, China.
