He was born on June 8, in 1964, in the city of Kirov. In 1987, he graduated from the Kirov Regional Art School with honors. In 1990, he was accepted into the youth association of the Union of Artists of the USSR. In 1995, he was admitted to the All-Russian Public Organization “Union of Artists of Russia”. In 2002, he was awarded the diploma of the All-Russian Public Organization “Union of Artists of Russia”. In 2004, he became – the winner of the award of the Kirov region in literature and art. In 2008, he was awarded the gold medal of the All-Russian Public Organization “Union of Artists of Russia” “Traditions, spirituality, craftsmanship”. In 2010, he was awarded the diploma of the All-Russian Public Organization “Union of Artists of Russia” (again). In 2012, he was awarded with gratefulness by the Russian Academy of Arts. In 2012, he was awarded the honorary title “Honored Artist of the Russian Federation”. In 2013, he was awarded the gold medal of the All-Russian Public Organization “Union of Artists of Russia” and “Traditions, spirituality, craftsmanship” (again). In 2013, he was awarded the diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts. In 2014, he was awarded the State scholarship of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. In 2015, he was awarded with gratefulness by VTOO “Union of Artists of Russia”. In 2016, he was the winner of the Victor and Apollinaris Vasnetsov Award.

He is a participant of over 100 exhibitions of various levels (regional, inter-regional, and all-Russian, international, solo). More than 80 of his artworks are in the state collections of museums such as: Vyatka V.M. and A.M Vasnetsov Art Museum; Elabuga State Historical-Architectural and Art Museum-conservancy area, Kurgan Regional Art Museum, Murmansk Regional Art Museum, Museum of Art Culture of the Novgorod Land, Orenburg Museum of Fine Arts, Simferopol Art Museum, State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, Art Museum of Cherepovets , Repin Art and Memorial Museum (Ukraine), and in many others. Currently he is a member of the Central Auditing Commission of the All-Russian Public Organization “Union of Artists of Russia”, as well as a member of the board of the Vyatka regional branch of the All-Russian Public Organization “Union of Artists of Russia”.
