Yelena Hagverdiyeva was born in Khabarovsk, Russia, in 1963. He graduated from the Graphic Faculty of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University in 1985. Since 1997, she has been a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan. In 2018, the artist received the Azerbaijan State Laureate. In 2012 and 2016, solo exhibitions of the artist were held in Baku.The artist has participated in many national and international exhibitions, art projects and symposiums. Her artworks have been exhibited in Azerbaijan State Art Gallery, Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture, Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, Turkey and abroad.
