Andrei Chikacev

He was born on 27 April 1967 in Hatin-Sisi village of Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, Leninsk District. After graduating from Suntar Secondary School in 1982, he was accepted to the Yakutsk Fine Arts School. In 1986, he started to the Faculty of Painting of the Asian Fine Arts Institute, and started to his education at the S.A. Litvinov Workshop. After the first year, he served in the Soviet Army. After completing his military service, he continued his education at the institute. He participated in exhibitions organized for young people during his education. Between 1994 and 1996, he worked as a graphic designer at the AVE Company of the Opera and Ballet Theater of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
