Ilham Mirzayev was born in Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan, in 1965. Between the years 1980-1984, he studied at the A. Azimzade State Fine Arts College. Since 199, he has been a member of Union of Artists of Azerbaijan. In 1992, he worked as a theatrical artist at the Nakhichevan State Drama Theater. The artist has held several solo exhibitions. In 1992 he was a member of Nakhcivan Filial of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan The artist held the following exhibitions; In 1993 – the “Absheron colors”; In 2014 – at the V. Samedova Exhibition Hall of Azerbaijan Artists Association. The artist was the participant and winner of many national and international exhibitions and contests and received numerous diplomas and awards. In 2012, two of his works appeared in the catalog of the International Arts Foundation. His artworks take place in the collection of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan; in the collection of the Chairman of the Assembly of the Nakhchivan Republic; collection of Ali Heydar Aliyev Foundation which is located in Azerbaijan State Fine Arts Gallery, and in many private collections in Turkey and abroad.
