Salih oral was born in 1941 in Limassol. He had his primary and secondary education in Limassol.He did not attend to Teacher’s College despite being accepted. He was a combatant in Erenköy (Koççina) between 1964-1966.He graduated from Art Department in Ankara Gazi Educational lnstitutein 1968.He lectured future teachers of Art and Painting in Atatürk Teacher’s Academy. Teaching art in many public schools, he alsa was an art teacher in Neareast Primary School. The artist has works in the Stamp Collection of State Post Office and has participated in Turkish Republic State art exhibitions as we/1 as many mixed exhibitions both locally and intemationally.

Participating in the 1st lnternational Europe Asia Biennale, the artist’s works were among many collections of art lovers both locally and intemationally.

Salih Oral was the first National referee and was a referee for many years and now he is interested in the art of photography.
