Mr. Mikhail Statny was born in 1942, in the Republic of Moldova, in the village Beljavintsy. He finished the Kishinev artistic college in 1968 and Repin’s Institute of paintings, sculpture and architectures in St. Petersburg in 1975. Since 1976 Mikhail Statny is an honorable member of Moldavian painters union. Artist works in such genres as subjective picture, portrait , landscape, still-life and etc. Mikhail Statny’s works are in the collections of artistic museums and private galleries. He is a holder of a vast array of national and international awards.
