The Largest Modern Art Museum of Near East Region… Founded on August 9, 2018, the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts of the Near East University was designed as the largest modern art museum in the Near East region, with its infrastructure that will allow exhibitions of all kind of artworks of ancient and arts.The 6-storey Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts of the Near East University consists of a total of 14 halls with a foyer hall that can accommodate up to 1.300 people, 4 permanent collection halls, 2 temporary collection halls, 2 photograph exhibition halls and 3 halls for sculpture collections. In addition, the museum complex includes a cinevision and conference hall with a capacity for 120 people where conferences and symposiums on the world of art can be realized, VIP and guest lounge, 2 panoramic lifts, studios and laboratories where rare works will be analyzed and restoration activities take place, a special sound and light infrastructure, a photo studio, a photo and restoration laboratory, offices for specialists, a cinevision hall, meeting rooms, air-conditioned storage rooms for the protection of special artworks, repair and maintenance workshops. In addition, there is a fully equipped library, archive and a souvenir sales unit to shed light on the history of art.
