Biography
She was born in Kucuk Kaymakli in Nicosia in 1961. When she was a child she and her twin sister Sevcan Cerkez started painting.

Experiences
-Her comics and cartoons were published in local newspapers
-She has done many researches on Turkish Cypriot folk dances
-She has contributions to Hasder’s Halkbilimi magazine
-She has helped Hasder with many projects. She has also teached many schools theatre classes.
-She has been a primary school teacher since 1985 and retired after thirty years of teaching career.
-She has served in KTOS’s managing and running department.
-She has done the drawings and paintings in many National Education Ministry’s school books.
-She has drawn and painted storybooks.
-She has been in five personal exhibitions as well as many mixed exhibitions

Today Recently she is working in KTEV’s arts department as well as, drawing and painting in her own arts workshop. Her last exhibition (SEHER) was about
