He was born in Germany on 22 October 1973. He completed his elementary and secondary education in Mersin and his undergraduate education at the Department of Sculpture of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Erciyes University. He completed his master’s degree education on Ceramics Arts-major at the Graduate School of Erciyes University in 2012. In 2014, he started his doctorate education on Ceramics Art-Major at the Graduate School of Social Sciences of Near East University and he currently continues to receive his PhD education. From 2000 to 2007, he worked as a faculty member at the Department of Sculpture of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Cumhuriyet University. Since 2017, he has been working for the expert team of the Higher Education Council. He has participated in many group exhibitions, symposia and artistic events regarding ceramics and sculpture, so far. Alihan YONUK, whose artwork at the 71st State Art and Sculpture Competition deemed worthy to be exhibited, has a daughter.
