Rabis Salyakhov is the writer of art projects and a ceramic artist. He was born on October 13, 1958, in the Old Aktau village of Buzdyak district of Bashkortostan. In 1982, he graduated from Ufa Art School. Salyakhov studied with famous artists such as Victor Pegov, Tamara Nechaeva and Valentina Kuznetsova. The artists has been living and working in Elabuga since 1982. Since 1986, he has participated in national and international art exhibitions of Russian Federation and of the Republic of Tatarstan. In 2006, Salyakhov received the title of State Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan.Rabis Salyakhov’s works are exhibited at the Fine Arts Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, Yelabuga State History-Architecture Museum, the National Art Museum andin the cultural center “Kazan”.
