Şakir Zakirov was born in 1964 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
In 1983, graduated from the P.P. Benkov National College of Art.
In 1992, he graduated from the Department of Cinema and Television Artist of the M. Uighur State Institute of Art.
He has been teaching at the National College of Art since 1999 for more than 15 years.
The artist held solo exhibitions in Moscow (Russia) in 1994, and in Aktub (Kazakhstan) and at Nefertiti Gallery in Ankara in 2005.
Şakir Zakirov is a participant of many national and international art exhibitions.
His works take place in private collections in Uzbekistan and abroad.
