He was born in Nicosia, Cyprus on 08.02.1994. After completing his primary school education at Şehit Tuncer Primary School, he completed his secondary and high school education in Nicosia, at the English School in south Nicosia. In 2016, he graduated from the Near East University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Graphic Design as the top student of the faculty. Then, he completed his masters degree at the Near East University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Fine Arts and Design. Tamer Ekendal received the honorable mention in the Young Artists Painting Competition organized by the TRNC Culture Department in 2016, and participated in group exhibitions in Japan and Ukraine in 2018. He is currently a PhD student at the Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Art and Design, Near East University.
