TURKSOY Deputy Secretary General Prof.Dr. Fırat Purtaş Visited the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts. 8 Opera Artists from 5 Countries which are members of TURKSOY, will give concert at the opening ceremony of the museum.

International Turkic Culture Organization TURKSOY's Deputy Secretary General Fırat Purtaş and Prof. Dr. Güler Fedai, TURKSOY' Press and Information Manager, paid a visit to the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts.

The Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, of which the opening ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 27th, was visited by the Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY, the International Organization of Turkic Culture. Fırat Purtaş and TÜRKSOY's Press and Information Manager Güler Fedai also paid a visit to the Founding Rector of Near East University, Dr. Suat İ.Günsel. NEU Vice Rector Prof.Dr. Fahreddin Sadıkoğlu was also present at the visit.

According to the information given from the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, Prof.Dr. Fırat Purtaş and Güler Fedai also had the opportunity to watch the works of artists who participated in TURKSOY traditional painters' event. They also made comments and suggestions on the activities to be carried out together with TURKSOY and the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts.

Prof. Dr. Fırat Purtaş said in his statement regarding the museum that it is his belief that the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, which consisted of great works that were gathered together within a short time, would be a wonderful work and that it would make a great contribution to the tourism potential of the TRNC. Purtaş also stated that he was fascinated by listening to the stories of works of art and that this was a very significant and meaningful enterprise for the benefit of the country and that Dr. Suat İ.Günsel had a very high vision in seeing the future.

The Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will be opened on 27 September. 8 opera artists from 5 TURKSOY member countries will perform a concert at the opening ceremony at Oasis Hotel of University of Kyrenia. The opera artists are Nazym SAGYNTAY (Soprano) and Yerlan JANDARBAY (Tenor) from Kazakhstan, Yuliya BABICH (Konsertmaister) and Aziza MAMATNAZAR KYZY (Soprano) from Kyrgyzstan, Aleonara MUSTAFAYEVA (Soprano) from Azerbaijan, Leyla GURTUYEVA from Kabardin Balkaria (RUSSIAN FEDERATION) and Tuğrul ENVER TÖRE (Baritone) from TRNC, and Sermin DİKMEN TÖRE (Soprano).
