Former President of the National Assembly Sibel Siber visited Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts

The former President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus National Assembly Sibel Siber paid a visit to the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts which is located opposite the Cyprus Car Museum in the museums area of the Near East University.

According to the press information provided by the Near East University Press and Public Relations Directorate, the former president of the Parliament, who also became the first female Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and is well known in the politics and health environments, paid a visit to the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts. During her, Ms. Sibel Siber was accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hastürk, lecturer of Faculty of Fine Arts, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Serkan İlseven, Director of the Administrative, Financial Technical and Parliamentary Services of National Assembly. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hastürk informed the former President of the National Assembly, Sibel Siber, about the works exhibited in the museum.

The former President of the National Assembly stated that the Near East University, with its enterpreneurship, brought in another first to the Turkish Cypriot community. Sibel Siber, also stated that such an art museum is very important in developing the cultural and artistic values of the Turkish Cypriot community.

Dr. Siber expressed her feelings about the museum: "Contributions of the Near East University to the country's culture and art is very important and undeniable. Establishment of such an art museum to contribute to the artistic values and culture of the Turkish Cypriot community is of great importance. Today, I had an artistic journey with great pleasure inside this museum and I would like to congratulate the Near East University for bringing the unique art works together with us.
