Arts Center of Near East University, where four exhibitions can be displayed simultaneously within the scope of Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, opens its doors with Feryal Sükan’s retrospective painting exhibition and with the participation of the Prime Minister Tufan Erhürman

Having been established to provide services as a subservient of Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, which was established on the Campus of Near East University with the aim of making the artistic production process a part of the daily life of the society and promoting our country’s artistic creativity to wider populations, Arts Center of Near East University with its four art galleries will open its doors on October 16 with Feryal Sükan's retrospective painting exhibition that curated by Associate Professor Erdoğan Ergün from NEU Faculty of Fine Arts and Design. The inauguration of the exhibition will be realized with the participation of TRNC Prime Minister Tufan Özhürman.

The Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University released that the Arts Center of Near East University, which is located in Atatürk Culture and Congress Center (AKKM), would open its doors at 19:00 on Tuesday 16 October 2018 with the first retrospective exhibition featuring the artworks created by Feryal Sükan. It was stated that the opening of the exhibition would be realized with the participation of the Prime Minister Tufan Özhürman.

The exhibition will be open between 16 October and 28 October between 10:00 and 17:00.

The exhibition is open to public from 10:00 to 17:00 from October 16 to October 28, 2018.

The Arts Center of Near East University will also host Mustafa Hastürk's retrospective exhibition on October 29, and the retrospective group exhibition of Near East University artists on November 15, 2018.

The Arts Center with four exhibition halls will feature not only the painting collections but also the artworks of the artists involving in sculpture, photography, plastic and other arts. The Arts Center, where many exhibitions can be opened simultaneously, will provide services with four different gallery venues. Arts Center of Near East University with its physical structure capable to host four solo or group exhibitions at the same time will also have the mobility to fictionalize one or two exhibitions.

Having been founded on the principle of respect for arts, artists and audiences, Arts Center of Near East University, which will play a leading role in promoting the Turkish Cypriot culture and arts, will be a cultural center, which opens its doors for all kinds of artworks and where artists and art lovers come together.
