“Exhibition of Republic Day” consisting art works of 38 Artists to open by Prime Minister Tufan Erhürman

The "Exhibition of Republic Day" consisting of 103 art works of 38 artists from the the Near East University will be opened ny Prime Minister Tufan Erhürman at the Art Center affiliated to the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts of Near East University on 16 November at 10.30.

According to the press information provided by the Near East University Press and Public Relations Directorate, within the scope of the November 15 Republic Day activities, through which the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will be celebrated, the "Exhibition of Republic Day" will be opened by Prime Minister Tufan Erhürman at the Art Centre located in the Atatürk Culture and Congress Centre which is hosting the third art exhibition and has the capacity to host four different art exhibitions at the same time.

The exhibition will be held under the curatorship of Assoc.Prof.Dr.Erdoğan Ergün, a faculty member of Near East University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design. The Exhibition of Republic Day will consist of works such as paintings, sculptures, ceramics, prints, paintings and photographs of 38 artists and can be visited between 16-30 November.

Exhibition curator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdogan Ergun said that with the exhibition the art lovers will have the opportunity to watch the works of art teachers working for the Near East University, namely artists and educators.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdogan Ergun also stated that the art works consisting of paintings, sculptures, ceramics, print art and cultural works will contribute to the formation and development of art and cultural awareness of the society and will be the third exhibition opened at the Art Centre which is affiliated to the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, and all the art works will be included in the inventory of the Museum.
