The Painting Exhibition consisting of 25 artworks exclusively made for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts by Kazakh artists Murat Zhetpissaliev, Shalkar Kabdesh, Kazhybek Baimul you and Bakhytbek Talkambaev, and the Exhibition of Turkey Printmaking Artists consisting of 35 artworks exclusively made for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts by Eren Laçin, Parvin Ghorbanzadeh Dizaji, Şeyma Topçu, Ümmihan Bulut, Yalda Jafari Yaghin and Asiye Sarıoğlu Demirör will be opened by Minister of Labor and Social Security Dr. Faiz Sucuoğlu.

60 artworks to be exhibited in 2 exhibitions at the same time...
According to the information provided by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of the Near East University, the opening of the exhibitions, which consist of 60 artworks, will take place on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at 08.30 at the Exhibition Hall of the Faculty of Dentistry of Near East University.

25 artworks by 4 artists from Kazakhstan...
The works of Kazakh artist Murat Zhetpissaliev depicting realism, Shalkar Kabdesh's works based on abstract painting, and Kazhybek Baimuldin's works reflecting the images of his homeland will meet art lovers. In the works of Baimuldin, the epic, poetic and creative environments of his homeland and active and creative quests for the harmonious unity of the world draw attention.

Bakhytbek Talkambaev uses a unique style in his paintings. Talkambaev, the artist from Shymkent, claims that his paintings have therapeutic power. The artist claims that the inspiration of his drawings comes from a vast space, and that his work has a healing effect on the person in different ways.

35 artworks six artists coming from Turkey...
35 print painting works exclusively made by using metal engraving, high printing and serigraphy techniques for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts during a 9-day workshop carried out at the Near East University Fine Arts and Design Faculty by the young academicians/artists coming from Osman Gazi University and Hacettepe University, will be exhibited.

Artist residency program coordinator and exhibition curator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün made a statement about the Near East Print Painting Artist Residence and said "The Residence is an international art activity of which the 10th was held and includes all traditional printing methods and is carried out in print painting workshops of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design. The main aim of our program is to host print art artists especially of the Turkic world in the field of contemporary art, and to ensure that the original works of the participating artists realized in workshops and studios, and ensure that these artworks are included in the collection of Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts which will have a closed area of 20.000 m2 and completed in 2020."

"Our artist residence, which has hosted more than 100 print artists so far, not only provides research and production opportunities for artists but also organizes trips, seminars, and workshops.", said program curator and exhibition curator and Head of Department of Plastic Arts Assist. Prof. Dr. Yücel Yazgın. Yazgın said "As a result of the residence activities we have carried out for 9 days in the print painting studios of the Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design with 6 young academicians/artists invited from Osman Gazi University and Hacettepe University, metal engraving, high printing, and screen printing techniques were used to create the 35 works. They were exclusively produced for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Art. We hereby would like to thank all the participating artists for their efforts during this period.”
