Two solo exhibitions consisting of 21 works of Kazakh artist Daurenbek Beknazarov and 22 works of Bahrom Ismatov will be opened by the Minister of Economy and Energy Hasan Taçoy on Thursday, 26 December 2019.

According to the information provided by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, two solo painting exhibitions consisting of 21 artworks of Kazakh artist Daurenbek Beknazarov and 22 artworks of Bahrom İsmatov will be opened on Thursday, December 26, 2019, at 08.30, at the exhibition hall of the Faculty of Medicine.

Who is Daurenbek Beknazarov?
He was born on August 20, 1987, in the village of Rabat in the South Kazakhstan region. Between 2001-2004, he studied at the Shimkent Art School. Between 2004-2007, he studied at Kasteev Art Vocational School. Between 2007-2012, he studied at the Monumental Art Department of the Jurgenov Art Academy. Between 2013-2015, he studied and graduated from the 'sculptor' master program at the same academy. He also studied in the workshop of Malik Mukanov, Gaziz Yeskenov and Aydar Jamkhanov. Together with these artists, he has decorated the metro stations of the Almaty city. Since 2014, he has been teaching at the Jurgenov Art Academy.

Who is Bahrom Ismatov?
He was born in 1979 in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan. In 1998, he graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Olimov Republic Art College in Dushanbe. In 2004, he graduated from Tursunzade Tajik State Institute of Art. Since 2004, he has been teaching easel painting at Tursunzade Tajik State Institute of Art. He is a member of the Tajikistan Artists Association. He participated in national and international exhibitions such as «Surush 2001» and «Surush 2002» held in the city of Dushanbe. In 2003, he took part in the international art exhibition "Art of Nations" dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Confederation of International Artists Union in Moscow. In 2004, he participated in the «Ecology» exhibition in Moscow. In 2008, he participated in an exhibition in the cultural center of Bactria, and participated in the «Youth» project in Astana. In 2009, he participated in the Commonwealth of Independent States Youth Days held in Baku. In 2011, he opened his solo exhibition “Navruz in Dushanbe. In 2016, he held a solo exhibition at Siren Hotel, in Dushanbe, and a solo exhibition in the Business Center building. He also participated in the Cultural Days of Tajikistan held in Minsk, Republic of Belarus. His works take place in many private collections in European and Asian countries.
