I would like to thank everyone who is with me here and share this moment with me. Another Kazakhstan artist, Nelli Bube, underlining that this exhibition was the third exhibition she held for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, said “Every visit to Cyprus has been a great happiness for me and a new opportunity to improve myself. Each exhibition is like a test against God, the universe, my country and myself. The exhibition we will open today is my third solo exhibition. The main subject of this exhibition is related to ecology, flora and fauna conservation issues. In my works, I tried to reflect the animals with different plastic structures and you will be the one to evaluate how much I have achieved to my aim. My attitude towards ecology is a kind of report against the power of nature, God, my soul, and conscience. I hope my works will remind us once again that we need to love and protect nature. I would like to thank the management of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Art for the invitation and interest. I have seen that artists from different corners of the world removed all the borders and stayed, worked and produced together for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts. This is very valuable and necessary for us. I hope this tradition always goes on like this.”

Minister Çavuşoğlu; "This great museum is presented to the service of the humanity of the world, and it honors us ”
In his speech, the Minister of National Education and Culture, Nazım Çavuşoğlu said; “Who would have thought that we could achieve such a rapid development, bring together artists from many parts of the world and serve? But obviously, our people coming from Anatolia did not see these lands only as our own, and they also showed that developing and reconstructing these lands did not only mean hosting people. Here, we established the state, the institution that a community could form, and the state could not be without people, the state could not be without art, the state could not be without private entrepreneurs, and this state was able to come to present day thanks to people who love this state, who do their best to prepare these lands for the future in the best way, and who are willing to raise it to the level of the most advanced states in the world. Progress continues in this framework. A new step is being taken with a new car brand and with a museum where artists from all over the world are brought together. This great museum is presented to the service of the humanity of the world, and it also makes us very honored. Just a while ago, our artists were talking about the heavenly atmosphere created here for the artists, a festive atmosphere. Heaven would not be without an artist anyway. You were the missing part of heaven and you are here right now. We create and develop our paradise together. It is open to all people of the world, and its knowledge here will reach all people of the world. I believe that we have already reached the highest level in taking these big steps. Students, lecturers, a large community are in an interaction here. If people believe, we see what can be done in such a small geography. TRNC is the symbol of belief and one of the creators of this symbol is Dr. Suat Günsel.”

The artists were presented with Ulug Beg Award, and the ribbons of the exhibition were cut.
Following the speeches, the Ulug Beg Award was presented to the Kazakh painting artists by the Minister of Education and Culture, Nazım Çavuşoğlu and the exhibition ribbons were then cut. Exhibitions can be visited between 08.00-16.00 on weekdays until January 31, 2020, at the exhibition hall of the Faculty of Dentistry of Near East University.
