Two solo painting exhibitions titled "Expireal - Soul experiment in reality" consisting of 45 artworks of Uzbek artist Lyubov Tiora and "Departures" consisting of 18 artworks of Kazakh artist Kuralbek Kossuakov, both exclusively prepared for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will be opened by Minister of Economy and Energy Hasan Taçoy on Wednesday, 29 January, 2020.

According to the press information provided by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of Near East University, the exhibitions will be opened on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at 08.30 at the exhibition hall of the Faculty of Communication, Near East University.

Who is Kazakhstan painting artist Kuralbek Kossuakov?
He was born on May 28, 1959, in Kazakhstan. He graduated from A. Kasteev Art College in 1980. He worked as a teacher at Zhdanov High School between 1980-1986. In 1990, he participated in the national exhibition held in the city of Almaty. In 1991, he participated in the regional art exhibition held in the city of Shymkent. In 2000, he participated in an art exhibition held in the city of Turkestan. He participated in national art exhibitions held in Almaty in 1994, 2005, 2012 and 2019. In 2019, he participated in an art exhibition in the city of Tashkent and a regional art exhibition in the city of Taraz. He is a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He graduated from the painting department of P. Benkov Republic Art College in 1992. He is a member of the Youth Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Art Academy. He is a member of the International Designers Association. He taught painting, drawing and art history lessons at the art high school between 1991-1992. Between 1993-1994, he worked as a decorator at the "Tire" theatre studio. In 1996, he held his solo painting and graphic exhibition at the Maxim Gorky Tashkent Drama Theatre. In 1999, he participated in the republic sculpture and graphic exhibition held at the Exhibition Center of the Art Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He participated in the "Expo 2000" art exhibition held in Germany in 2000. He held his solo painting and graphic exhibition titled "TIORA" at the Uzbekistan Russian Drama Theater. In 2003, he participated in the exhibition called "Navruz" organized annually. In 2005, he participated in the conceptual art exhibition "Spirit movement between ideas". In 2007, he participated in the modern art exhibition organized by the Swiss Embassy and the National Art Gallery. He took part in "Dialogue", "Intersection" and "Spouses" projects in the First International Modern Photography and Video Art Festival. In 2014, he held the "Experial" solo art exhibition in Tashkent city. In 2014, he received a certificate of appreciation for his special contributions to the development of the art of painting in Uzbekistan. In 2018, he held the "Experial" solo art exhibition at the Central Exhibition Hall of the Art Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent. His works are in many private collections in Russia, Japan, Kazakhstan, USA, England and Czechoslovakia.
