All exclusively prepared for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, Kazakh artist Galymzhan Suyunov’s exhibition titled as ‘Selfie’ consisting of 20 pieces, Gülnazım Omirzak’s exhibition titled as ‘Melody of Emotions’ consisting of 20 pieces, Omirzak Rystan’s exhibition titled as ‘Sound of Steppe’ consisting of 20 pieces, and Kirgiz artist Nurbek Mataev’s exhibition titled as `Shadows of my Childhood` consisting of 20 pieces, making a total of 80 pieces of the four separate personal exhibitions will be opened on Wednesday, 26th February 2020 at 08.30 by Minister of Labour and Social Security Dr. Faiz Sucuoğlu.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, the exhibitions of Kazakh artist Galymzhan Suyunov’s exhibition titled as ‘Selfie’, Gülnazım Omirzak’s exhibition titled as ‘Melody of Emotions’, Omirzak Rystan’s exhibition titled as ‘Sound of Steppe’, and Kirgiz artist Nurbek Mataev’s exhibition titled as `Shadows of my Childhood, will be opened on Wednesday, 26th February 2020 at 08.30 by Minister of Labour and Social Security Dr. Faiz Sucuoğlu at the exhibition hall of the Near East University Hospital.

Who is Nurbek Matayev?
He was born in Bishkek, Kirghizstan in 1980. In 2002, he graduated from Sadykov National Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is a lecturer at the Art College.

In 2005, he participated in international open-air artist event “heaven”. He also took part in the young artists exhibition of Gapar Aitiev National Art Museum. Later in 2006, he attended an art exhibition dedicated to Nevruz holiday at the T. Sadykov National Academy of Art Museum. In 2007, he participated in the art exhibition "Rabat" by young artists. In 2008, he participated in an art exhibition competition dedicated to the anniversary of the author Chingiz Aitmatov. Then in 2010, he participated in the art festival «Inspiration 2010» in Astana.

Who is Omirzak Rystan?
He was born in 1950 in the Ulan Bator capital of Mongolia. During 1973 and 1974, he studied at the German Language Faculty of Johann Gottfried Herder Institute of Languages, in Leipzig, Germany. He studied at the German Academy of Arts during 1974 and 1980. He is a member of Mongolian Artists Association since 1981. She has been participating in international and national art exhibitions since 1980. From 1982 to 1992, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Mongolian Artists Association. The artist's works are located in the exhibition fund of the Mongolian Artists Union and the Residence of the President of Kazakhstan. They are also found in many private collections in Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Germany, Japan, Russia, Italy, France and the USA.

He holds diplomas of many national art competitions. In 2002, he won the diploma award of the international Master Сlass art festival. In 1985, he received the diploma of the Union of Artists of the USSR. In 1990, the Mongolian Revolution Youth Centre Committee was awarded with Özat Zhas Honorary Medal and Mongolia Kurmet State Medal. In 1990, he was awarded with the honorary medal of "Perfect Age" and the State Medal of Mongolia "Kurmet". Since 1992, he has become a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He worked as a teacher at Cumhuriyet Art College between 1993-1995. He is a senior lecturer at the T. Zhurgenov National Academy of Arts since 1996. He is an artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He has taken part in many art exhibitions held in Russia, Kazakhstan, Germany and Egypt.

Who is Gulnazim Omirzak?
He was born in 1984 in Mongolia. In 1992, he moved to Kazakhstan with his family. After graduating from the art school in 2003, T. Zhurgenov was admitted to the National Academy of Arts. In 2009 he received his Master of Fine Arts degree. Tambur has been engaged in embroidery art from the age of 15. Since 2002, he has participated in many international and national art exhibitions and projects in the field of art. 5. He was awarded the gold medal at the international festival “Inspiration”. In 2010, he was awarded the «Talent» State Award. He is a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan. His works are in Kasteev State Art Museum as well as in private collections in France and Germany. He has more than 200 works, especially drum embroidery.

Who is Galymzhan Suyunov?
He was born on May 1, 1964. In 1986, he graduated from Alma-Ata Civil Engineering Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture. He opened his solo exhibition at the 'Solo' Art Gallery in 2013 and has been participating in the 'Altyn Kayyk' competition since 2015. In 2015, he participated in the international painting symposium ‘Plein Air Aktobe. He participated in the "Portrait" art action in 2018. Also in 2018, he opened his personal exhibition titled “Appearance“ at Aktobe Art Museum.
