The opening of the "Fine Arts Exhibition in Honor of Prof. Dr. Ümit Hassan" consisting of artworks exclusively made by Near East University Fine Arts Faculty artists for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will be held on Friday, January 15, at 11:00 at the Near East University Grand Library Prof. Dr. Ümit Hassan Republic Hall.

The exhibition, which consists of 40 artworks of 20 artists, will include paintings, ceramics, and print paintings. Curated by Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Vice Dean and Günsel Art Museum Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün is the 368th exhibition held by the Cyprus Moder Art Museum.

In December 2020, with the decision of the Günsel Family Board, the largest hall of the Near East University Grand Library was named Prof. Dr. Ümit Hassan Republic Hall. The hall, which was named in honor of Prof. Dr. Ümit Hassan upon completing his 20th year as the Rector of Near East University and standing out as one of our important scientists, will host the exhibition.
