“Fine Arts February Exhibition”, which brings together 50 artworks of 21 academician artists who continue their artistic productions within the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of Near East University, will be held on Thursday, March 23 at 16.00 with the participation of the Minister of Interior Ziya Öztürkler at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center, Central Exhibition Hall. The 438th exhibition, to be opened by the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, can be visited free of charge until April 15, 2023.

In the “February Fine Arts Exhibition”, 50 works consisting of paintings, sculptures, ceramics, stained glass and prints will meet with art lovers.

Stating that they bring together the artistic productions they carry out within the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of Near East University with art lovers every month through group exhibitions organized by the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of Near East University and Director of the GÜNSEL Art Museum, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün reminded that they postponed the February exhibition due to the earthquakes that took place in Turkey on February 6.

Emphasizing the healing power of art, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün said, “In this evil time we live in, we need the healing power of art more than ever as a society. I believe that our Fine Arts February Exhibition, which consists of the works of our academic artists and has a rich variety of works, is extremely important in this respect.”
