Famagusta Çanakkale Secondary School students, accompanied by their teachers, visited the Near East Enterprises Museums

Near East Enterprises Museums continues to host the students of the schools providing education in the TRNC. The first guest of this week was Famagusta Çanakkale Secondary School. 35 students who came to the Near East University Campus with their teachers visited the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, the Cyprus Car Museum, the Cyprus Herbarium and Natural History Museum, and the Innovation and Information Technologies Center, while having fun while spending some inspiring hours.

With the visit of Çanakkale Secondary School, the number of students hosted by the Near East Enterprises Museums in the last two months has exceeded one thousand. The Near East Enterprises Museums, which will continue to host students studying in the TRNC in the coming days, will continue to introduce the young generations to the inspiring power of art.

Students continue to meet the power of art, culture and science
Visiting the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts with the cultural tour organized, the students closely examined a rich collection of paintings and sculptures consisting of the works of artists belonging to 14 Turkish nations. In addition, many collections, from ship models to glassware and sword collections, provided entertaining moments for visitors, most of whom were primary school students. Cyprus Car Museum, located on the Near East University campus, has become one of the museums where children spend the most time with its rich automobile collection, as well as toys made from various machine parts, model car collection, pedal cars, Batman and Transformers figures.

They toured with great interest…
Students visiting all museums with great curiosity and excitement, at the Herbarium and Natural History Museum, they had the opportunity to examine the natural history of Cyprus with 11 thousand of different plant specimens, mushroom varieties, insect species, various reptile species, sea creatures, fossils and rocks under one roof. Çanakkale Secondary School students both learned and had fun while visiting the museums of the Near East University with great interest.

Students witnessed the power of technology
The students, who also visited the Innovation and Information Technologies Center on the Near East University campus, examined the artificial intelligence and robotics studies on site, and also examined the possibilities such as supercomputer and NEU3D Laboratory with interest. Çanakkale Secondary School 7th-year students, who witnessed the power of technology, took lots of photos, too.
