The Spirit of April 23 Will Be Colored with Art!

The “Fine Arts March Exhibition” of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will be opened by President Ersin Tatar on Thursday, April 17 at 16:30 at the Near East University Faculty of Dentistry Exhibition Hall.

The “Fine Arts March Exhibition” exclusively prepared by the Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design within the scope of the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day events will be opened on Thursday, April 17 with the participation of President Ersin Tatar. The exhibition, consisting of the works of 18 academic artists, will meet art lovers at the Near East University Faculty of Dentistry Exhibition Hall at 16:30.

The exhibition organized by the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts in honor of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day brings together 50 works including paintings, sculptures, ceramics and printmaking. The exhibition is curated by Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün, Vice Dean of the Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design and Director of the GÜNSEL Art Museum. The 471st exhibition to be opened under the roof of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will be open to the public free of charge until Friday, May 16. The opening of the exhibition will also feature a “World Art Day” celebration.

Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Ergün, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of Near East University and Director of GÜNSEL Art Museum, said, “This exhibition, which we will open at the intersection of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day and April 15 World Art Day, reflects our hopes for the future and our belief in art.”
