He was born in in Artvin-Şavşat in 1969. He graduated from Uludağ University, Faculty of Education, Department of Painting in 1992, and Faculty of
Education, Social Sciences Institute, Department of Graphics (MA) of the same university. Opened 13 solo exhibitions. He participated in nearly 60
international biennial and trianel competitions. He won four international and three national prizes in competitions. He still continues to serve as a lecturer at Uludag University, Faculty of Education, Department of Painting. Many of his works take place at national and international museums.
