Gamze Anıl was born in 1977 in Nicosia. After graduating from Lefke Gazi High School in 1994, she continued her education at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic. After returning to Cyprus, she worked in various advertising agencies. In 2005, she designed the stamp series on the “Greek Olympics ’for the TRNC Post Office. Simultaneously, she designed advertisement for Caretta Caretta magazine. Between 2010 and 2016, she worked as an instructor at the Department of Visual Communication and Design at the Faculty of Communication of the Yakın Doğu University. She has participated in numerous National and International group exhibitions – II. Izmir Art Biennial-2013 and 3rd Word Conference on Design, Arts and Education, DAE, Dubrovnik-2014. In October 2019, she won the first prize at the inc National Organic Product ’logo competition organized by the TRNC Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Since 2016, she has been working as a graphic designer at the European University in Lefke.
