Hikmet Uluçam was born in Paphos, Cyprus, in 1950. In 1975, he completed his postgraduate education (MA) in Istanbul Academy of Fine Arts. He has worked for Istanbul Commercial in Istanbul, Cen Agency, Commercial Agency as a Graphic Designer and Director of Art. Between 1982-1988, he worked as the Production Manager in a ceramics workshop; established as part of the United Nations Development (UNDP) Programme. Later, between 1988-1991, he worked as the Head of Department at the A-N Graphics Ltd, Cyprus. He also worked as the Head of Printing House A-N Graphics Ltd during the years 1996-2003. He has participated in many private and joint exhibitions. Currently, he is working as an academic member of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of Near East University.
