ÖZÇELİK graduated from Department of Ceramics, Faculty of Fine Arts of Hacettepe University in 1989. He received his MA degree in 1993 and Proficiency in arts degree in 1998 from the same institution. The artist, who has participated in many group exhibitions domestically and abroad, has received fourteen awards that including State Painting and Sculpture Exhibition Ceramics Achievement Awards in 1997 and 2001, Russian Orient Art Museum Medal of Honor in 1999 , II. Triennial Exhibition of Flower Vases, Gold Plaque for Alternative Work in 2005 from Republic of Croatia, 2016 Ankara Art Institution Artist of the Year Award He has made more than 100 “ceramic wall artworks application” which most of them stay on government institutions in Turkey. He has made these ceramic wall applications to Libya, to The Near East University in Cyprus, to İnternational Macsabal Museum in South Korea also. ÖZÇELİK presently continues his position in Hacettepe University.
