Inna Kostina

She is an honored artist of Azerbaijan. Between the years 1984-1989, she studied at the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography, in the field of actress-director in Moscow. Since 1991, she has been a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan. Since 2007, she has been a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan. Between the years 1995-2011, she was the founder and leader of the Arts Symposium in Sheki, Azerbaijan. In 2012, she became a member of the International Art Fund. In 2011, the artist was awarded the Presidential Prize; and in 2010 – ‘The ROME-2010’ prize, in Rome, Italy. In 2009, she received a grant from the Norwegian embassy in Azerbaijan. In 1996, she was a laureate of the “Modern Art of Azerbaijan” award, UN, Baku, Azerbaijan. In 1996, she was the founder and director of the Children’s Art Studio “Seven Colored Butterflies”. In 1994, a diploma of participant was awarded her at a contest of young artists from Azerbaijan and Turkey, organized by the company BP Statoil.

The artist’s works are in collections such as: National Museum of Art, Baku, Azerbaijan; Museum of Modern Arts, Baku, Azerbaijan; Russian Museum of Fine Arts, Tomsk, Russia; Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, Baku, Azerbaijan; Union of Artists of Azerbaijan; Karvasla Gallery, Tbilisi, Georgia; “Old Gallery”, Tbilisi, Georgia; in private collections in Azerbaijan and more than 25 countries of the world.
