Nelli Bube

She was born on June 18 in 1949 in the city of Karaganda. She is a member of SHRK, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academician of AHRK. Between the years 1964-1968 she studied at the N.V. Gogol Art School in Almaty and graduated from this school. Between the years 1971-1977 she studied at the Kazakh Abay State Pedagogical Institute in Almaty. From 1979 to 1990, she worked in the publishing industry. Since 1997, she has been engaged in exhibition activities. In 2004, she won the Grand Prix of the contest “Man and His Art” in Astana. In 2004, she opened her personal exhibition “Nomads and Culture” in Geneva, (house of the United Nations); in 2005, she opened her personal exhibition “Kazakh Arabesques” in Paris, (Pavilion “Dauphin”); in 2012, a personal exhibition was held under the name “Biblical Itits” in Oslo. She is an active participant of international exhibitions: “ARTIADA-2004”, Athens (2004); “Many-sided Asia”, Prague (2008); “Portable International Exhibition” Astana – ReinhovenAmsterdam-The Hague-Vienna-Astana (2008 -2009). She is the author of personal exhibitions in Kazakhstan: “Animal World. The end of the twentieth century “, Almaty (1998); “ Returning from distant wanderings . “Almaty (2004); “ Scythian Gold “, Almaty (2005); “Alphabet of Nomads”, Astana (2016); “Istanbul Voyage”, Almaty (2019). Her works take place in the museums of Kazakhstan and in private collections in Europe, America and Russia.
