The “100th Anniversary of Our Republic October Exhibition”, consisting of the artworks of the artists of the Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts, and the solo painting exhibition of the Kazakh artist Mariia Raskin, titled “The Inspiration of Cyprus”, will bring together 100 artworks with art lovers in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey.

Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will exhibit 100 artworks to art lovers in honor of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey. The “100th Anniversary of Our Republic October Exhibition”, consisting of the artworks of the artists of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Near East University, and the personal painting exhibition of the Kazakh artist Mariia Raskin, titled “The Inspiration of Cyprus”, will be opened by Prime Minister Ünal Üstel on Friday, October 27, at 15.00. It will be opened at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center Exhibition Hall.

The “100th Anniversary of Our Republic October Exhibition”, exclusively prepared by 21 academic artists of the Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts, brings together a rich collection of paintings, sculptures, ceramics, stained glass and printmaking.

Kazakh artist Mariia Raskin’s personal painting exhibition titled “Cyprus’s Inspiration” brings together art lovers with her mixed technique works using acrylic and texture paste on canvas. The abstract painting series called “Hidden Portraits” by Mariia Raskin, who reflects the extraordinary natural beauties of Northern Cyprus in the form of minimalist landscapes, will also be presented to art lovers at the exhibition. The works of Mariia Raskin, who uses extensive careful details in her works to make the viewer feel the opposite combination of energy and peace, take place in private collections in the USA, Germany, Türkiye and Russia.

The exhibitions organized in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey can be visited free of charge until November 20.
